[ It's honestly a mystery how Kuroo was strong armed into this when his schedule is already so tight packed as it is, but... What can he say, the idea of a student tutor gig looking good on his record, alongside his pretty decent grades and his various extra curriculars, is a very tempting idea. Even if this thing doesn't go well and the guy he's tutoring doesn't get higher than a B, it's still a thing he's agreed to that will impress any future employer, so he really can't lose.
To most Kuroo appears to be the type of guy who only cares about sports and often finds himself took caught up in said sport to allow anything else to enter his head. But, so contrary to his appearance it almost seems purposeful, Kuroo has a great interest and knack for potions to the point where he's become something of a legend in the homework department. It makes sense that he's been asked to tutor since the subject comes so easily to him, but what doesn't make sense is that they're expecting an hour a week to make any difference to a guy who's failing miserably. He's expecting a total dunce, probably that big Gryffindor guy he sees in the classroom after hours on a Saturday, scratching his head so often Kuroo is surprised he doesn't draw blood.
With a sigh, he pushes open the door. He's still half in his uniform, his shirt and tie visible under a quiddich hoodie he's thrown on, but he's done his best to not make this feel like school. The idea of being a teacher, while enticing because of the power, is still a little daunting even for him.
What he sees, then, when his eyes alight to the only inhabited table, surprises him greatly. ]
Oh. [ He blinks. This kid does not look like a dunce.] ... Have I got the right room?
