[ In the night, your character may wake up to the strange feeling of someone painting over their eyes, and can freely open their eyes to see just what's happening. In the darkness it may be hard to see, but a young man leans over your character with a paintbrush in hand. He has dark skin and white hair - But there's a chance you'd recognize him as one of the transfer students. Nearly uncharacteristic surprise colors his expression. ] Crap! Back to sleep! [ There's not much time to respond before he throws a fist full of dust into your character's eyes. Abruptly, as if through magic, your character will fall back asleep. Upon waking, your character will find that the paint job is only three-fourths finished, with one area around their eye painted in strange black ink, while the other eye is only half-covered.

For the remainder of the 22nd, your character will have trouble seeing, as one eye envisions the world as it appears to everyone else, while the other is seeing the world in a skewed way. In the skewed world, it is black and white and looks as the school should most days. If your character covers their normally functioning eye so that only the skewed world is visible, all voices will turn to whispers. All of the students -native and transfer alike- have dark, black eyes, as if a hole has been left. Closer examination, however, reveals that inside those eyes are galaxies twinkling in the distance, and for a moment your character may feel small or insignificant -which is what they are, really.

Notably, there are a few students who look almost military, wearing blue arm bands and moving in synchronized units. They leer at your character. While exploring the world. Your character may see someone at one point who lifts a gun at them. He says: ]
This one won't fail me. [ and fires at your character. Although not literally shot, your character might feel as if they have been, and the pain will last for an hour. ]
